Welcoming
a new member into the family and community has to be one of
the most delightful and joyous occasions a celebrant can
experience......
Namegiving ceremonies provide us with the opportunity to
cement our relationships within the central family, invite
other people into the life of the new addition (in the form
of mentors, godparents, guardians, etc.), and the chance to
formally recognise the value and input of significant people
such as Grandparents.
A
Namegiving Ceremony can include anything from traditional
wording to something created just to suit you - all it
requires is some ideas, some creativity, and your
guidance....
My fee
includes: a visit to gather information; provide a variety
of suggestions; create a special ceremony; correspond by
phone and e-mail until you are totally delighted with the
wording; rehearse for the celebration; and then finally, as
your celebrant, facilitate the ceremony
 itself.
I will
produce personalised certificates for parents,
godparents/guardians and grandparents as required.
I will
arrive complete with a PA system (if required), in time to
set up and ensure everything is running smoothly & greet the
people gathered for the celebration. I will then conduct and
guide the ceremony.
